Maryanne Trump Barry was born in Queens, New York in 1937. She went on to attend college at Mount Saint Vincent College before earning a law degree from Hofstra Law School. She then worked a lawyer and partner in a prestigious law firm before being appointed to the U.S. District Court in 1983.
Throughout her career as a federal judge, Maryanne Trump Barry tackled a variety of high-profile cases.
